Philip Mulford, founder of Mulford Mediation, writes a regular column called "Mediation Works," for divorce360. He has been a professional mediator since 1990. Once a practicing attorney, he gave up a successful law career to pioneer the field of mediation.
 
Specializing in divorce and marital mediation, Philip has helped hundreds of couples resolve custody, visitation, child support, alimony, property division, and financial issues from the simple to the complex. One of the country’s most experienced divorce and marital mediators, Philip is sought out and referred to by attorneys, therapists, clergy, aspiring mediators, those seeking to divorce in a civil and cost effective manner, as well as those seeking to keep their marriage together.  

Philip currently hosts a weekly Internet radio talk show, "Divorce Mediation: Myths & Facts" on Thursdays at 2 p.m Eastern time. Philip has written numerous articles and is a frequent speaker on mediation and communication. He is a magna cum laude graduate of Duke University, holds a J.D. from the University of Virginia Law School, and was one of the first mediators certified by the Virginia Supreme Court for both family and civil mediation.
