Kenia Maldonado holds a bachelor’s degree from Syracuse University and a master’s degree in social administration from Columbia University School of Social Work. She is currently working as a Family Case Analyst in the New York State Unified Court System. She is also the Founder of NY Anger Training. She is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) in New York State and a court mediator working with divorce cases around custody/visitation. She is also a Certified Anger Management Facilitator (CAMF, trained under the Anderson & Anderson model. She brings more than 10 years of social services experience to the program working with youth, family and children services. Her experience includes working in a emergency family shelter with victims of domestic violence, providing counseling to runaway and displaced teens, conducting court-mandated supervised visitations/transfers, directing a youth leadership center for teens 12-18 and providing fatherhood support groups to formerly incarcerated individuals. Currently, Kenia is a social worker in Supreme Court working under the supervision of two judges in the matrimonial matters division.
