Cut the Divorce Rate in Half?

Columnist Mike McManus has a lofty New Year's Resolution.  He wants to cut America's divorce rate in half.

One f his ideas: Get rid of no fault divorce.  He says that because couples are no longer required to give a good reason for divorce, they bail out of marriages on a whim, without even thinking.

McManus writes a family column online and share his viewpoint through sites like "Virtue Online." He is also the co-chair for the group "Marriage Savers."

I think this is a decent idea.  And that's not coming from self-interest--there's plenty of fault in my marriage.  I think it's a travesty that two willing parties are required to enter the marital covenant and only one party is required to dissolve it.
