Hey again. I do work full-time. I work for a non-profit child care agency. I really love what I do but hate all the travel that goes with it. I used to teach high school English but made a shift in careers about nine years ago. Sometimes now I think about going back to teaching but I am in a job that works well for me with the kids. Do you work full-time? I know the divorce thing is tough. If you are like me, I thought I was in for the long haul. I really had a hard time initially because I felt like I had wasted half my life with/on someone who was willing to throw it all away in a heartbeat. After a lot of soul searching I realized it wasn't wasted time - I wouldn't be who I am now without it and I have three wonderful children. I guess it would be nice if there was some magical sign or time when everything became clear and you knew if you were doing the right thing. I equate divorce with riding a see-saw ~ sometimes you are up and all feels okay and then the next thing you know you are back at the bottom again. Just hang on and look inside yourself and you will find the answers you are searching for. I know that sounds easy and trite and I hated it when people said it to me, but it is true. I am always here if you need to talk/write.
