Hi Kmac, I am currently dealing with a stbxh in the throes of a mid-life crisis. I always used to get so angry hearing/reading about all the women that get the short end of the stick when it comes to divorce - thought I was different and my stbxh was different - we were best friends, after all! This wouldn't happen to me! Well, live and learn.... What a shock to hear him say that he thinks it is unfair that I get anything after 20 years (me working like a dog in my career) together...we never fought either. I am being left in a deep financial black hole.....while the economy around us is imploding! I came to this site to see if I could find some information (legal, chat)...and sometimes I even get a laugh or two while browsing around! Some of what I have found has been quite helpful - and I will use what I have learned as I move forward. Hopefully, I add something useful/helpful to the conversations/questions on this site as I interact with others here... Good Luck as you work towards a new career (I was in that position 14 yrs ago!) and I hope you find something of value here that you can use!

Hi, welcome to d360. Here’s a quicky ‘how-to-get-started’ note. 1.You can do everything from here, your MyStuff/Profile page. At the top is your ACTIVITY/scroll. When your friends/people you follow, post something new, it will show up here. It’s live and in real time. 2. Post a new QUESTION. See where it says ADVICE? Click Add New and type a question. When you hit submit, the entire site can see it, read it and comment on it. 3. Post a new BLOG. Click Add New up at the Blog section. Advice/Questions are usually shorter questions that need answers now….and blogs are longer, personal stories or vents. 4. See if anyone commented on your questions and blogs and if they did, comment back. 5. Read other members questions and blogs and give them your thoughts. 6. Follow people. When you see the follow button/get alerts link, and you like that members posts or that topic, click it. You will be alerted when they post. 7. This area here is your Wall. It’s for semi-private notes or jokes between members. Hope this helps. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks, Paula
