STBX = Soon To Be Ex You definitely know what I'm going through. It helps to know I'm not alone. All I hear is "move on" (God I hate that term now). Yea, I know I need to but the nightmares aren't helping with that. Then I'm told not to be bitter. Being told your bitter always sounds like something is wrong with you. I looked up the term and Damn Right I'm Bitter. I earned the right to be bitter. I'm going to be bitter as long as it takes to move on. I feel for your situation. I just got my foreclosure notice on Tuesday. I've made my peace with it months ago. The mortgage was more than my monthly salary so there's no way I was paying it on my own. The STBX is living in a rental townhouse that was recently renovated top to bottom with a projection tv in the media room in the basement. Thats ok. He's writing her IOUs every month for $900 in rent. I calculate he owes her more than $7k by now, not including utilities. His family is supporting them also, but they don't have any money and he makes more than most of them. It's only a matter of time before the whole family goes broke. Right now they are living the dream but they also have a baby due soon. That will make life harder and MUCH more expensive. I hope it all falls to pieces for your STBX also. FIGHT, FIGHT, FIGHT! If you don't fight for what you need and want now, you'll never get the chance to do it later. This is a battle.
