I don't think I'll do well with it either when my stbx announces his engagement. But then I realize that I'm stronger than all of this, and it too shall pass. Keep your chin up.

I'm in California, I put morals clauses in all the time - it's in the parenting plan that is on the site. If they "never heard of it" or don't want to fight for it for you, then they are not looking to your interests and are not the attorney for you anyway.

why on earth would you not just file for divorce and take care of everything, not just custody, but financial as well? I don't get your thinking here... he will win visitaiton CW - ex parte or otherwise - and when he does, if you don't do this the RIGHT way, all thoughts of a morals clause goes right out the window and his "affair" will get to play house with your child.
