This is what happened.
How Did You Meet?
In Texas at my mom's house.
Describe your marriage before the problem.
It was fine, she was just always unrealistic about money. I was fine, but I just lacked the communication skills to get her to understand how her actions were stressing me out and pushing me away from my marriage and into a process of "looking around for something (anything)" to make me feel better.
Tell us how you first realized you had a problem.
Year 3.
What did you do about it or if you have not done anything yet, why?
Yes I am divorced.
If you're not yet divorced, what is your greatest fear?
No fears anymore. Since I have paid my alimony payments, I am fine.
If you're not yet divorced, what two tips would you share with others?
For men: 1. Women know well in advance they want a divorce. 2. Don't feel sorry for your spouse and get yourself "emotionally" together...because if you don't, she will take you to the bank. Your wife probably knows what she wants and she probably "hates" you (the whole, "I love you but I am just not "IN" love with you thing). For Women: Guys are just different, way different.
If your divorce is final, what was the hardest part of the divorce?
Saying goodbye to the past and awakening to the future.
If your divorce is final, what two tips would you share with others?
For Women: Men are different and study the differences. By doing so you may better select someone who will not turn your life upside down.
