WE WERE SO IN LOVE....SO I THOUGHT
How Did You Meet?
We met because of my dad. My dad had just moved into a new apartment and my ex lived downstairs from him. He saw me park in his parking spot one day and came out to talk to me.
Describe your marriage before the problem.
Our marriage was o.k. My ex was not a real emotional person. I loved him and I thought he loved me. We did everything together.
Tell us how you first realized you had a problem.
I realized there was a problem when he started working alot of overtime at work. Then he would talk about this girl he worked with.
What did you do about it or if you have not done anything yet, why?
I found out he was having an affair with this woman he worked with. I kicked him out of my house and filed for divorce.
If you're not yet divorced, what is your greatest fear?
If you're not yet divorced, what two tips would you share with others?
If your divorce is final, what was the hardest part of the divorce?
The hardest part of the divorce has been learning to let go. I miss him and to know that he is with someone else kills me. Also the fact that we have to share custody of our daughters stinks.
If your divorce is final, what two tips would you share with others?
I would tell people to learn to let go and not hold on to the anger and also to not let the idea of having a "friendship" with your ex get in the way of going for what you want in your divorce.
