How Did You Meet?

Met from a mutual friend in high school        

Describe your marriage before the problem.

We were having financial problems, I wanted another child and he did not

What did you do about it or if you have not done anything yet, why?

I confronted him, he admitted he was seeing her, I filed for a divorce

If your divorce is final, what was the hardest part of the divorce?

I found out I was pregnant 2 weeks after I filed for divorce.  We had to wait until the baby was born.  He married his new wife 2 weeks after the divorce was final.

If your divorce is final, what two tips would you share with others?

If you have children be civil no matter how hard it is.  DO not lie to your older kids about anything.  Be truthful when they ask questions, my 13 year old daughter has a great relationship with me and her dad and neither of lied to her.  He told her what he did to cause the divorce and I did not bad mouth him about it.  As much as it hurts, he married a wonderful woman and she is good to my kids and we get along well despite she was the other woman.  At some point, you did something that hurt him or her too and the divorce is not just one persons fault.
