He was set up with my best friend but he liked me instead of her.


Exciting, high society, lots of socializing, lack of intimacy


Subtle hints throughout the marriage like on our honeymoon he found a rastafarian to take us on tour and was not romantic and the weed was more important than us being together.


He hit me last year and I left to recuperate at my parents with the kids and after a month he surprised me with custody papers.  He was vicious in court so I had no choice but to file for divorce.


Leaving the familiar life behind because not ALL of it was bad.  I miss the lifestyle, the people, the family unit in tact etc.


Make sure you have a strong foundation to stand on before you get a divorce.  Make sure your self-esteem is in tact.  Make sure you are strong enough.  Make a plan about what you will do with the rest of your life after divorce.  It isn't easy.  These are all things I failed to do and now I am suffering even more.
