Husband Cheated with Hairdresser at our Salon

We were introduced by a close friend of mine who was dating his best friend.

I thought we were happily married, but in hindsight I now see that there were issues brewing for a few years. I had caught my husband on the computer talking sexually with an employee at our salon when I was seven months pregnant with our fourth child. He said it was a joke and somehow I blocked it out. Years later when he had an affair with another hairdresser, I finally woke up and faced the truth that my husband was a cheater.

I was told by one of my employees at our hair and nail salon that my husband was cheating with an employee.

I confronted my husband who denied it. I filed for divorce shortly after finding out.

The hardest part of my divorce was finding out that the person I had trusted the most in the world had betrayed me and I no longer knew who he was.

Protect yourself financially and make copies of all financial documents, including bank statements, tax returns, pay stubs, deeds to properties and cars, investments, etc. Give these to a close friend or family member for safe keeping in the event of a divorce.
If you do get divorced, try to use a mediator and settle your divorce amicably. The only person who wins in a nasty divorce battle, is the divorce attorney.
