How Low Can He Go?!

It has been more than a month since I posted any updates for my divorce. A lot, I mean, a lot has happened, especially in the past 2 weeks. I am a forever-changed person due to my stbx' endless help!

--- I modified my petition from no fault to at fault divorce on the ground of adultery under my attorney's advice over a week ago. We have more than enough evidence to prove my case. My stbx is currently living with his mistress like a couple and he told me he had a spiritual wedding with this woman already. Somehow this so-called wedding seems like a joke to me, but I wonder if I should buy a card to congratulate them anyway.

--- My stbx was furious because I want an at (his) fault divorce now. In order to teach me a lesson, he cut off the utility services without telling anybody. For 3 days, I did not have electricity or water inside the house. Luckily, my boys were at their grandparents'. Then, he showed up with a U-Haul truck and a police officer, claiming he needed to move his personal belongings out of the house. I told the officer he moved out almost 2 months ago and at that moment I would not allow him enter in my house without contacting my attorney first. He was turned away even more angry than ever.

--- Just as I thought my stbx had hit the bottom of his schemes, he showed up with his mistress (or should I call her "the spiritual wife") one Sunday morning and took my Jeep away. My brother bought me the SUV as a gift and that is my only transportation. I managed to get the vehicle back that day. However, a few days later, two detectives paid me a visit and told me my stbx had reported the Jeep got stolen by my brother, the very person who in fact paid for my vehicle. I was speechless!

For 11 years together, I have never thought this is the kind of person I am involved with. Do divorces bring out the ugliest side of human beings? How low can he go?!
