Richie Sambora split from Heather Locklear in 2006 after 12 years of marriage, but that hasn't stopped the Bon Jovi guitarist from supporting his ex in her quest to get well.
Locklear, 46, is currently seeking treatment for anxiety and depression at an Arizona facility, and Sambora is firmly in her corner, a friend of the couple told People Magazine.
"Without a doubt, he's there for his daughter and her mother," said the source. "They may be divorced, but they are raising a little girl they both love very much."
The couple have a 10-year-old daughter, Ava. Kudos to Locklear for seeking help, and to Sambora for supporting her. Once you have a child together, your lives are forever interwoven.
