I think we all have these days genx but look at the bright side, it helps you appreciate those days when you feel like the hottest thing in town. Gotta take the good with the bad and know that this too shall pass.

Hey, just remember the original Ugly Duckling writer: Hans Christian Anderson.  That duckling was a swan!  So shake off your feathers hold your neck up and honk!  Ok, maybe not honk, but you're more than the sum of your feelings.  You're not an ugly duckling. Trust me, I am the ugly duckling, and you ma'am are no ug-duck!

I thank Margaret Mitchell every night before I go to bed. I have a lot of tomorrows. I'm out in the heat and the sun either mowing, working my horses or dragging water hoses. I'm in now for a short break. My work is never ending and I have just about given up on hair and make-up. The bugs and the gnats love make-up. 
I have to watch the aroma of my shampoo. Nothing apple or cucumber flavored or I'm beating my boys out of my hair. Now if they were human instead of equine it might be o k. But who wants a 1200 lb. horse nuzzling in your hair.
I'm not complaining, just stating facts. I love what I do.
But yes nearly every day is an ugly duckling day.
