Witherspoon-Phillippe Divorce Finalized

The divorce of Reese Witherspoon and Ryan Phillippe was finalized on Thursday. According to Los Angeles court records, financial and custody settlements have been reached.

Though details weren't available, the former couple sought shared custody of children Ava, 8, and Deacon, 4. Court documents dated June 12 read: "...the parties have settled all their remaining issues in these proceedings."

Both couples have moved on, which is as it should be. Witherspoon is currently dating Jake Gyllenhaal, and Phillippe is dating Australian actress Abbie Cornish. Some say she was the cause of the couple's split, but who really knows for sure?

The couple first met when a mutual friend brought Phillippe to Witherspoon's 21st birthday party. They married in 1999 after co-starring in "Cruel Intentions" together. Ava was born three months later.

What to say about this... Hope they're civil to each other and put the needs of the kids ahead of their own.
