How To Celebrate Father's Day

Father's Day was always such a treat in our house because he got loads of goodies for Father's Day. What a special day!  Now that we are no longer together, just how can we spend a father's day for him and still make it mentionable?  With all sorts of deliveries these days, there are balloons, cookie bouquets, telegrams and even food baskets available nowadays. What can you do if he doesn't have time to come over and visit your child? How can we deal with Father's Day with a man who doesn't have time to come and see his daughter?  Our daughter loves him dearly, but he has really put a damper on the occasion this year.  Perhaps a nice card and a small box of candy, or a card with a special shirt?  Either way, Father's Day is still supposed to be a day for all fathers.  It's just too sad that he isn't able to see the beautiful treasure of a daughter he has though......children are the best Father's Day gifts.

Don't let your daughter sit around and be sad waiting for him. Go visit grandpa or an uncle or do something fun together.
