Well I'm the bad guy again.  This time because I won't pay for my wife's trip to Hawaii.  What the heck, doesn't she understand she's filed for divorce.  I don't owe her these things.  I used to do them because I cared, but now I don't.  So the kids think I'm not being fair by requiring her to pay.  She knew for 5 months her job was ending and did nothing about it.  So I'm supposed to support her whims.  I don't think so.  Right now until the house is sold I need to feed and shelter her.  Nothing more.  Lifestyle changes are coming dear.  You don't get to keep the lifestyle.  This is your choice to divorce, you chose to have multiple affairs.  Now there a consequences.

Falcon81,
You hit that one deep over the right field fence. (well stated)
I refer to it as "she's beating the money drum again."  But I am quickly learning to tune out the bass.
(boom boom, boom boom, booom boooooooom....)

No you were not too stupid to see. They hide what they are very well. You know I was married to one of those too. I'm not stupid and never took my ex for granted. When you are caught in something like this you can't see what is right in front of you. I always thought it was me and could never figure why our mariage sometimes felt like something was "off".

Even my atty. didn't quite believe me. He does now. He says he would believe whatever I tell him about my ex. Your children will see thru her eventually. Be glad you are getting out. Just be careful. They try to suck you back into their drama filled life. This laptop is doing strange things and I need to get outside. Good luck.
