Went to my meds doctor for my depression today and therapist came up!

I went to my doctor today and she said I needed  to see therapist do to what my husband has been doing to me over the last 29 years. I told her that my soon to be ex husband said he would not pay for me to go to one. I am going through a difficult divorce right now do to his emotional abuse and the games he is playing me. Is there any one out there that knows any on line therapist that would be able to help me for free or where I could go to get this information? I would deeply appreciate it!

Thanks trisha9054 for the fast response and information I will try in my area. I will talk to my lawyer on Monday to see what he says also. I am not working right now maybe that will be in my favor in the long run.

Cancer,
Check in your area and see if there are any mental health facilities that will let you pay a fee based on need and income. There is one where I live and the fees can run as low as $15.00 a session if your income is small enough. Ask your doctor. She might know of a place like that.  You could always have your atty. add that to what your STBX needs  to pay for. If it's already that difficult  why not go for broke.
No, seriously talk to your attorney about a therapist. He might be able to come up with an idea.
