Songs of my life

Much of my life was spent expressing my emotions through music. I have a play list I escape to when the world crashes in on me. Here are some of the songs that are on my playlist:

Silence - Sarah McLachlan
Foolish Games - Jewel
Same Mistake - James Blunt
Broken - Lindsay Haun
Iris - Goo Goo Dolls
Mad World - Michael Andrews (Donnie Darko Soundtrack)
Cry - Faith Hill
Holy Water - Big & Rich
Break Down Here - Julie Roberts
I Can't Make You Love Me -  Bonnie Raitt
Going Under - Evanescence
Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own - U2
I'm Moving On - Rascal Flats
My Own Prison - Creed
Six Foot Town - Big & Rich
Stuck In A Moment You Can't Get Out Of It - U2
Half Acre - Hem
I'm Still Standing - Elton John

In the sad song vein this is a real tear jerker!
It is making the rounds on country radio quite a bit lately.

I agree Itmustbeme.  I used to love sad songs, I still like a few of them, but I don't seek them out.  There are plenty, they'll find me on their own.

I'm with you two. I love my music. I used to do the sad song thing but recently I've banned it. It serves no real purpose but to perpetuate the bad feelings I had when I starting out listening. Instead of allowing my mood to set my music, I let my music set my mood.... much happier.
