McGreevey Divorce: Judge to Rule in July

Lawyers on both sides of the James McGreevey divorce case gave closing arguments today. The former New Jersey Governor will have to wait until July before learning whether he owes his estranged wife alimony and support.

Dina Matos is seeking more than $4,200 a month in alimony and support for their daughter.

McGreevey shocked the nation in August of 2004, when he announced that he was "a gay American" and would resign. He said he had been the target of a blackmail threat from a former lover.

Not surprisingly, the McGreeveys split up in November of 2004. He's now a seminary student.

Should I include some snarky comment about that here? Nah, I guess not.
