Britney Spears Still Not Up for Legal Matters
It's been four months since Britney Spears was forced to spend time at a psychiatric facility, but she's still unable to participate "in any meaningful way" in legal proceedings and may need further tests, a court commissioner presiding over Spears's conservatorship said Thursday.
People.com is reporting that Spears' doctor has made a "differential diagnosis" and "wants to do additional testing in the not-too-distant future. For now, however, Spears can't take part in the "litigation process or in discovery proceedings." said L.A. Superior Court Commissioner Reva Goetz.
Attorneys did not reveal what was discussed in court chambers, but the custody of Spears' two children has been in legal limbo for several months.
Her affairs are now being handled by her father, Jamie, and attorney Andrew Wallet.
