99.9% divorced

On Friday, May 23, 2008, I was in front of the Judge finally.  I was asked if this marriage could be saved.  I said No and was asked if I was seeking to restore my maiden name.  No, I replied.

Then my stbx was asked and he said that he did not want this divorce.  Hmmm?  He didn't mention that he still loved me or that there was hope.  I believe with all my heart, that he does not want to be divorced because I get half of his retirement.  Hmmmm.  Doesn't that just sit pretty????  The Judge then told the stbx that he still had a good 25 working years before retirement.  That he could get and should get another job and that he would get half of my retirement.  His attorney tried to make me out to be a person that was going to send his client into a financial ruin.  Sorry, you did that yourself.

They have three weeks to finish this up and then I will no longer be

MRS!!!

I feel like a new woman.
