my ex has a photo of jesus for his profile/avatar 

yes, my ex, who once told me that it wasn't that i was fat...it was just that i had a big back....now is using a photo of jesus for his online profiles/avatars.

ok. i check on his stuff.  i know that's not good.  we've been divorced for years.  why am i still reading his stuff?  because frankly i can not believe what a loser he is and i'm waiting for him to write something, anything that shows maybe he is changing.

ok that's not totally true.  i also read his stuff to try to figure it out.  it = why he walked out on me and our 2 kids with zero warning 2 weeks before xmas and moved in with my friend.

so he changed his avatar from a close up photo of himself to a photo of jesus.

now what do you think that means exactly?

Well, my ex asked me once if I was trying to get to heaven by hanging on his coat tail.
My guess would be that he wanted to make the "christian " impression. Thought it would look good.

he's not religous at all.  nothing.  i can't explain it.  it has to be something like GirlfriendsGuideToDivorce suggests..maybe he's trying to ironic or evocative or interesting.  he has this blog that nobody reads either....and he makes comments using big vocab words that really just do not fit....like saying fast food is erudite or some such insanity.
