As I have posted before, my ex is getting married.  He has moved the wedding date.  He is now getting married next month on my birthday.  Yes, that's right.  He has chosen my birthday as his wedding day.

We are organizing ourselves for his big day.  Our kids are going to be part of the wedding.  I am invited of course but he doesn't want me to bring "that guy".  "That guy" would be my live-in boyfriend. "That guy" has been part of our lives for years now.  So, now it is up to me if I want to spend my birthday at Mark's wedding.

Of course, Mark brought the kids into this and the kids are asking me if I am going to go to daddy's wedding.  I really can't stand him.  When I asked him why he chose that day, he said he didn't realize it was my birthday and that now it is too late to change it because all the plans have been made.  It doesn't matter that he has changed the date 3 times already.

My boyfriend thinks I should go to the wedding.  He says it is only for a few hours and then I can come home and he will prepare a nice dinner for me or go out if that's what I want. 

I think this whole thing is stupid and that Mark is stupid.  I know I am being childish but I really don’t believe him when he says that he didn’t know it was my birthday.  He and I were married for a very long time; I can’t believe that he has forgotten dates like this or maybe I’m wrong. 

I have three weeks to decide.  Any suggestions?
