And the winners are...

Chrissy over at Storked invited me to guest blog today… I’d love to hear what you have to say at Glamour! Take a peek and say “hi.” Thanks!

Recently, I dared you to “flirt with someone when you’re out…Then report back here!” Two of you have won copies of Why Hasn’t He Called?, by Tamsen Fadal and her hubby Matt Titus, co-stars on the Lifetime series “Matched in Manhattan” and founders of SassyBean.com:

QTMama, whose five-year-old daughter spotted a handsome man in the grocery store and asked, loudly, “Mama! Do you think he’s a prince charming and is that why you’re smiling?”

QTmama answered “Yes”.

And Marie, who also had a check-out line story, about asking “Supermarket Boy” out after he’d escorted Marie and her son to the car, unloaded the bags, and “even said that he liked my son’s name (Teo, pronounced Tay-o). As you can imagine that was bonus points for him!”

“Well the day I had chosen to ask him out rolled around and I was a highly-caffeinated nervous wreck all morning,” Marie wrote. “The nervous pit in my stomach was there, and I felt like I was in high school again. So I went to the store, looking for something to ‘buy’ so I didn’t look like I was charging in just to see him. When I saw him in the store, my stomach jumped vie miles high, and I meandered through a few aisles before deciding to go for it. After all, I was only asking him out on a date, not to marry me (not yet, at least).”

“So, I asked him, and he was extremely flattered, and said ‘I’m sorry, but I have a girlfriend.’ While my adrenaline rush plunged 10 feet, I was able to keep my cool and my smile. I was very disappointed, but oh-so-proud of myself for taking that huge first step in two years. He did tell me that it was very brave of me to do so, and that he thought I was gorgeous… So, my radar is perked up even more, and I am ready to flirt away!”

Bravo to these brave mamas!
