I have now accepted that we will be getting a divorce.  We are to tell the kids this weekend.  I don't think this is going to be as tough as originally thought as they seem to have some idea.  I think by stbxw has been prepping them some.  It will still be very difficult but won't come out of the blue.  I'm taking my son out for lunch today, he's been really down lately as I am sure he's hurting.  This will be an opportunity to just have some fun but if he needs to talk I'll be there for him.

My friends and family have been unbelievably supportive.  Giving me good advice, kicking me in the butt when needed.  I appreciate all of them so very much.

I wish my stbxw the best in her new life.  I am very sad as I still love her but no one wants to be in a loveless marriage.  She needs to move on and find her own way.  I'd like to think she'll regret this decision but that's my own ego.  She needs to be her own person and be on her own.  Maybe then she'll find herself.
