I'm not ready for dating;the sequel 

As soon as I wrote that, I went to work and heard my mouth ask a woman I work with out to a movie. I have no expectations other than someone to see a movie with so that must be a healthy perspective. The not so cool part is the fact that she has a live in boyfriend who will be out of town this weekend. I'll be happy with sharing popcorn but i could have asked someone "unattached" as well.  Life, you can't make this stuff up.

Well, I had no idea I was going to do it so I don't know what I was thinking. We get along very well at work and she told me she was going to be by herself this weekend. That's when my mouth said "you wanna see a movie?" I told the person in the office that I'm the closest to and who I can count on not to spread it around. His reaction was that he had heard her say that she was tiring of her situation. All I really know is that she makes fun of the live-in constantly. I don't know how to interpret that. I told my friend I had no expectations other than a night out, he told me that was a levelheaded way to look at it. Her reaction after she said "sure" and I said "great, it should be fun" was to laugh and say "well it ought to be interesting".

i think its ok - you know the deal going in.  just be careful you don't find yourself in an awkward situation.....
