If You Plan To Remarry

Rebuilding after a traumatic experience is never easy, and remarriage is no exception. After a divorce, some people choose to remain single, while others search for a new mate. The most common thing after a divorce, though – dating is more complicated the second time around. However, those who have gone through a divorce usually have a strong insight as to what to do differently to make a second marriage work.

The first step toward a successful remarriage is to resolve the loss of the former relationship. Whether by death or divorce, the past needs to be completely put behind in order to get on with the future. This can take three to five years. Statistics have shown that if a remarriage occurs prior to this, the same cycle will repeat itself and the second marriage could falter as well.

My ex remarry after a month and a half after our divorce.  We just had two very young kids before divorce.  To me I think its a little too fast but I now focus on myself and my kids and will see what will happen.
