More on Moving With Children 

I found this article Moving Blues, which really doesn’t help me much since my kids won’t be changing towns or schools, but it might help some mom out there in blogland who is relocating due to divorce, separation, or job requirements. It’s directed more toward the teen reader, but good information just the same. Another that is similar, How Teen Cope With Moving Blues, again focused on a major relocation, but still some helpful hints for me. Things are easing up a little. We’ve had some long talks, and quite a few arguments, but I think it’s been an important part of the process. I want my daughter to know she can talk to me about anything, whether we agree on it or not. I’ve made my mistakes in this process. I still try to protect her too much. I don’t want her to know the hurtful “why’s” behind some of the decisions I have to make, so I keep a lot inside. I forget that she’s a young lady now. She’s told me she could have dealt with it all better if she’d known some of the why’s.
