Sympathy - Don't take this the wrong way... 

    Ok, I realize (and have read on this site) that there are MANY legitament cases where women are being taken advantage of, left not knowing why, left not knowing how they will make it.  I do understand that.  I'm not refering to those cases when I write what I'm about to.  I believe in being fair.  Regardless of Gender, Race, or Creed.  I don't know about every state, but in the one I live the law tends to favor females when it comes to custody, monitary support, etc...
     In the world we're living there are so many things that have to do with " Equal opportunity"  Except for divorce laws. (Typically regardless of who files).  There are so many ways that this system we have to deal with these family and personal issues is far from just.  I do understand that every case is different.  I just wonder if there is anyone else who can relate to the way I'm seeing things.  If you don't agree, leave me a comment too, because I'm open to explore the topic from both sides, please share your experiences and stories.

I agree. Why do people have to treat people bad at all. Why do we have to be vindictive or take advantage of someone's good will. That's the kind of thing that make good people selfish. Not to be purely selfish for selfishness' sake, but out of necessity. That's very unfortuinate.

the divorce system does not work...for anyone. but how do you even begin to fix it? maybe all marriages should begin with clear prenups of what will happen in case of a divorce.....clear rules about money, custody, visitation and even treatment....people shouldn't be allowed to treat ex's horribly....but there isn't a law about kindness or morals. there aren't laws making people be good mothers or fathers.....sad....maybe there should be?
