It's no secret that Meg Ryan had an affair with her "Proof of Life" co-star Russell Crowe. But she says she's only partly to blame for the split from actor Dennis Quaid.
Ryan reveals that it wasn't until after her divorce in 2001 that she learned of Quaid's alleged infidelities. But she blamed herself for the pair's split long after their separation. She tells InStyle magazine, "When the woman cheats, it's the woman's fault. When the man cheats, it's the woman's fault."
She also admitted on Good Morning America, "The truth is I had a very complicated marriage ... the last few years I've confused a lot of people really... I'm not interested in opening up my marriage, I just feel like every now and then you have to fill in the gaps for people. ... We're not friends really, but we're friendly."
And let's face it, after a nasty split, that's pretty good if you can say that.
