9/5/08

My stbx talked to her lawyer and now it seems is coming to her senses.  I also had a meeting with mine but that was setup weeks ago.  Since I am willing to take everything and split it down the middle he says we will be done shortly.  I am looking forward to that.

Once I get home this afternoon I will try and finalize the deal on items she can take.  If we can't she'll have to move out with nothing.  I don't want to haggle much and as long as we are both reasonable this will get done quickly.

I am looking forward to this weekend even though I expect it to be some what emotional with everyone moving out.  While I have been preparing for it I expect reality will really sink in on Sunday when everyone is gone.  I don't plan to be around while they are moving.

You're lucky it will be done shortly!

I had to get a bifurcation.  So the property settlement is dragging out.  Not sure why, I agreed he could have everything, including half of my retirement, even though I have 1/3 of what he has.  Funny how I made less and was able to save less but due to QUADRO laws, he gets half.
