The counselor

Well we got the info from the counselor. Some questions weren't asked that need to be but the kids told her they love both of their parents very much. They like living with their mom but would like more time with their dad. They didn't give her times or days but said they like hunting , fishing and camping with him.

She stated that one thing she sees as an issue is their fear of her . Mainly when I am discussed and they fear her extensive questioning when they return from being with him. The counselor said she fears this is not healthy for the children.

They spoke highly of me.

So we are going to try to set an appt for them again next Sat for her to talk to them more. My bf and I talked to her when we picked up her paperwork for the lawyer and told her some of the things that have occurred. I think I am going to print off my info for her prior so she has more back ground info. The kids seem to forget. She needs to know. If she has time to read it prior then she will know more what direction she needs to go.

Good grief....this is a freakin mess!

you know there is an 'incident' report on this site, it's private and only you can see it.  it's on your MYStuff page and you can keep notes about things that happen, etc.  you can use that (it's date stamped) for your lawyer as well.  it's a handy tool to have and use...and keeps all of this stuff organized.
