Former James Bond actor George Lazenby has gone to court to fight for the custody of his three young children. His estranged spouse, ex celebrity tennis pro Pam Shriver, filed for divorce earlier this month.
Lazenby, 68, and Shriver, 46, are sharpening their claws, as each paints a nasty picture of the other as a clueless parent and abusive spouse.
George has said he was willing to share custody of the kids, but she tossed out that offer. "I can’t believe it’s come to this," he told the Daily Mail. "I wanted to play fair with Pam – to let her share the kids 50/50. But she won’t hear of it. She wants to cut my throat and leave me with nothing. It’s heartbreaking."
He also said his mental and physical health has suffered as a result of the custody battle (I imagine!), and that he may produce a video in court which shows Pam allowing their young son to sip beer. Nice.
