I'm usually happy at the news of a new baby -- no matter who the parents are.
But when I heard that Charlie Sheen and new wife Brooke Mueller were expecting, all I could think was, oh great, another child thrown into the snarled mess of their lives. Because you KNOW those two will get divorced eventually. It's a given.
The couple announced yesterday that they're expecting a baby. "Brooke and I are thrilled! She’s the best stepmom Sam, Lola and Cassandra could ever hope for," said Sheen, 42, referring to his daughters Sam, 4, and Lola, 2 (with ex-wife Denise Richards), and Cassandra, 23 (with ex-girlfriend Paula Profitt).
Well, maybe they'll prove me wrong and stay together through thick and thin. I just don't see it happening. Do you?
