A
Chesham, Scotland man was found dead in his loft by his daughter. He'd apparently hung himself because of his
divorce.
Scott
Jeffrey, 40, was a self-employed builder, originally from Glasgow. According to the coroner, "He was a man
who had become unhappy and distressed for a variety of reasons, and had tried
to kill himself in a previous incident.
"It
is plainly something he's done deliberately so I need to return a verdict on
that basis that he took his own life."
It
all apparently became overwhelming for Jeffrey and he hung himself with a
garden hose wrapped around a beam in the house.
After his daughter found him, his wife cut him down with a kitchen
knife, but he was clearly dead.
Police
are ruling the incident as a suicide.
