Finally some relief

Today was CS Court. Yup, the second one since stbx decided not to show up to the first one. For those of you who follow my blogs (all 2 of you LMAO) you know that he told me he was unprepared the other day. Well, he wasn't kidding. He came in and asked for a continuance to retain council... Judge asked for his financials and he didn't have anything prepared or photocopied. He wanted the court to make copies for him... Yea, that did NOT go over well; it's court not kinkos and the Judge said no way. I had all my ducks in a row and was completely not nervous after just a few minutes of being in there. I was nervous for him though. The Judge gave him some pretty harsh words throughout. We are rescheduled for later this month so he can retain council. The Judge said, "and I'd BETTER see you in here with an attorney present. That will be the LAST court date you are given." Meaning don't postpone this and come without the reason I'm giving you. Also she awarded CS. Said she wasn't waiting for his attorney in order to do so. He can try to change it at our next court date but I doubt highly that will happen. He had the nerve to ask her for MY financials. She told him, "as soon as you give me yours I'll give you hers." She's a tough one. I'm glad this is pretty much over and as it stands he's paying more than what I had asked him to pay while trying to keep it amicable. He should have just worked with me :)

My Dear LG, you are good for much more. You've listened to me for so many hours I couldn't begin to count them and I'm grateful :) I do miss you around here.....

Rob, while I'd never trade the fact that we have our children I am glad for you that you don't have to deal with that aspect. This would go very differently if they weren't involved. Again, I wouldn't trade it though.
