Met my buddy last night for a wine tasting. Its was neat because the little wine bar we hang out let him pick some of the wine for the tasting. He did well. We are getting together tonight for beef and the olympics. I hope my son will join us as he showed some interest.
This weekend I need to get after some yard projects. I've been a little lazy and some stuff needs to get done. I figure a couple of hours and it will be done. I'll get a couple of good workouts in and be ready for the week.
My son turns 18 this weekend. I sat on the bed with him and talked for about 10 minutes. I can't believe he that old, but he has really matured in the past few months. Unfortunately I think this divorce stuff forced him to, but he's grown into a much more mature person lately.
My daughter still thinks I am the devil incarnate. As long as my ex allows herself to be the child and my daughter the mother it will remain that way. I just hope that this does not go on too long and damages her.
