The Birth of a Practical Joker  

Ben asked Jeanine last night, while she was cooking dinner, if there was any Raisin Bran for the morning.

I don't know, she said, look in the cabinet.

Can you check for me? He whined.

I would have said, no, but she, of course, said yes.

Not only was it funny, he pulled it off on the right parent.
