Drama Geek and I are preparing for our very first trip away together. We’re going out of state for a week, and I am interested to see how this whole scenario will play out.
First off, I don’t travel well – especially by plane. I get tired, dehydrated, grumpy and I loathe going through security. It’s no fun for me. Secondly, you see a whole different side of someone when you travel together. I think that’s when you get a glimpse into a person’s true nature – by seeing how they act when tired, grumpy and dehydrated. Do they embrace local customs or whine about the differences between the vacation spot and home?
So far, Drama Geek seems to be faring well. He’s taken it upon himself to research our itinerary, where we’re staying and what we need to pack. It seems I just need to show up. I like this.
