Why is it so hard to get to know someone and so easy to have sex with someone?  I am new to being single after 19 years of a relationship (not going to say marriage).  It is difficult to meet someone I am interested in and I am not an ugly woman nor am I a snob.  I feel like I have been beamed into High School all over again.  I really did not like High School.  The ins and outs of how do you know if he likes you to is he playing a game cross my mind constantly!!!!!!!  I feel like I am a boy crazy teenager.  Going out means you bring a girlfriend and you text each other all night giggling.  What is that about?!  I am nearly 40 and I feel like a fool.  I live in a big entertainment town and I'm dancing by myself.  I smell nice, look nice, speak nice and I get no connections.  Hit and miss.  I am born again and not wishing to backslide.  It would just be really nice to meet someone interested in hanging out, having fun and talking.  Where can I find people like that?  Are all the good ones under a rock LIKE I WAS?  I really hope I find this rock riverbank and soon.
