Answer to the Complaint

I received the Answer to the Complaint yesterday and my stbx is asking has denied and requested "Strict Proof" 4 of the 8 complaints. Then he is asking that he be awarded "reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred in this matter".   I laughed his request off because he abandoned the home, then the state without my knowledge while I was attempting to execute the divorce papers. The only reason he was served is because I did investigative work to find out where he lived and worked. Otherwise, he'd gone on about his business as if he didn't have a wife in Alabama.   My question is, which document will be filed next in response to his answers and request for "proof". Also, how do I amend my original complaint to add adultery, marriage by deception (becasue of his sexuality) and mental cruelty? If I add adultery to I need to change my reason for divorce? I was hoping to leave it as irreconcilable differences with mental cruelty and adultery as mitigating circumstances.

Have you received any advice from your legal counsel as of yet on the above referenced issues. I'm curious how you are going to prove (fact based) his adultery, sexual preferences, and mental cruelty?
