I’ve been a good girl this year.
I’ve juggled schedules for two kids with one hand tied behind my back. I’ve been helpful and cooperative with my ex-husband. I’ve conquered mountains of laundry in a single bound, dove into battles between my two warring children early and often, and I’ve done my best to always put my kids’ needs first. Well, almost always (martyrdom isn’t healthy, right?)
I give back to my community, volunteer for the jobs no one else wants to do, and work and play well with others.
What’s more, I have developed a killer cookie bar that I’m quite sure you’ll love to sample on Christmas Eve.
I haven’t written you in a while. I don’t have a tree or a chimney for you, sorry. But I really really REALLY would love to get one simple gift this year. Well…one gift that shows up 24 times next year, that is.
Santa, you see, I just can’t seem to keep the house clean - what with the kid raising and the volunteering and the full time job thing, not to mention that whole cookie baking routine.
So could I please, PLEASE get a cleaning service twice a month? You can consider it a gift for the whole family, and your way of spreading peace and togetherness, all year long.
Think about it, will you?
Love and kisses,
Betsy
