Ihave never been to this site but I just read your stry(how can I leave a wonderful man) You are me!!

I got pregnant at 19 and married at 20. He is the most fantastic person..He is my best friend and I hope always will be. He would do anything to keep me. I am just so confused.

He left today with my kids. He is leaving for 2 weeks so that I can decide what I want. I do kow that I want my life back and I want to LIVE! anyway, I am not sure th at you will see this but I would love to be able to chat with u.

I appreciate your advice...I realize that he's wonderful but I am not sure anymore what makes me happy. I don't wan to be selfish but I have been here for 13 yrs for him and my 2 kids.
At what point do you give up your soul, just to be o.k.?

He's your best friend. Do you love him? Does he love you? Do you respect one another? Is he kind to you? Does he take care of you, and do you take care of him? Is your love life okay? If you answer yes to these questions, you're a fool to want more. You already have pretty much everything. What more are you seeking? God, if you've already got what everyone on this site is dying for, don't let it go.

I think that some women who have children and marry young think that they missed out on something and they very well may have, but if you have a good man you should be thankful and try to work out what ever problem you are having without driving him away. Not exactly sure what you mean with "want to live" you are alive!
If you want to go out and do different thing do them with your husband. Find a babysitter. maybe your husband feels overwhelmed too. Talk to him.
I don't know if there are other issue maybe medical problems and if thats the case, than you should seek help, but if you truly have a wonderful father and husband in you spouse why would you want to drive him away and struggle as a single mom? your husband will be gone but your children will still be there for you to deal with on your own.

Maybe you guys could "get your life back" together. Get a sitter and go "out on the town". If you really love him and he is your best friend, you should hang onto him.

I'm 40 and have two kids also. My husband is more into his work than me and I have had two affairs. He is also a great guy but I can't compete with his work anymore.
