filling these papers is hard to understand.........

I have my divorce papers but, I'm really bad at understanding how to fill them out with all these legal terms. I can't afford to pay an attorney to do it for me. Any one know where I can get help filling out these papers correctly?

Cass, you might go to your county court clerk's office and see if they can guide you through the questions you have.  Understand they cannot give you legal advice and they probably won't have time to fill in every blank for you.  But if you get as much as you can prepared on your own and come by to get specific, to-the-point questions on the items you are really stuck on, most clerk's offices will try to give the help they can.

One other option may be to go to a family law firm that has a paralegal on staff.  They will charge you to help fill out the forms and take the time necessary, but they usually will not cost as much as an attorney.

Good luck.
