Mediation

Court was yesterday.....absoutly nothing was done, he was late, haden't done 1 thing he was suppose to do as far as getting paperwork (information) in order for the pre-trial....Now I guess it goes to trial....I was so confused, it was the most un organized thing I have ever been a part of......The judge said he wanted us to o to mediation.............I have no clue and can't seem to find any real info on just what all that intails...The only thing I DO know is it is going to be more $$$ I have emailed my attorney about it, and have yet to hear anything back from her.....

Can someone please explain this process as far asw mediation? The thot of having to even sit in the sme room with him makes me ill, as he never ever gave me any answers as to what he did, and yet I feel I am now going to be forced to sit down and be rational with him!
Before I sign anything as far as mediation goes, will I have a right (even if its 5 minutes) to confront him about what happened?  I just don't think I can move forward with anything until I can do this.... Plz help here!!!

My ex has been temorarily removed as the Director of a  West Texas V.A. Medical Center, pending an investigation. The 2  female employees he had affairs with are now on the very exclusive "ADR" panel as "coordinators", this was visible on Google. The "Clinical Instructor" went to a  Colorado V.A. and  in less than a year got this title! Both are V.A. "Mediators" performing dispute resolution between employees and administration. Neutral, Professional, Ethical or Moral? Hardly. Know everything about your "Mediator", ask for their education, training and check out their pasts, they can ruin your life, career, etc. on a whim. Your "Mediator" is only as good as the system that developed them.

You do not have to be in the same room for more than a few minutes.  I was feeling very much like you when I had mediation.  The process is to assist you both in reaching a decision in order to avoid court, time and money.  It was scary to me as well.  He came in smiling and nodding to me and everyone.  One happy man-the adulterer!  We were given the explanation to the proceedings, then separated into different rooms.  If it is not offered, ask for it.  I was so angry that I stared his smile off his face.  I refrained from speaking to him.  I still do not correspond with him.  I had emailed him a letter addressing my hurt and his adulterous actions, to only find him trying to use it against me.  So-DO NOT TALK TO OR EMAIL HIM!  Turn your hurt over to God.  That has helped me to stay sane.  Good luck!
