My feelings on Nutrisystem:

  • tastes like cardboard
  • smells like cardboard
  • packaged in cardboard
  • you burn more calories by shopping for food

Loosing weight depends on a few things. Your body type, your age, and how much you want to loose. Any diet you choose, you will still have to exercise. If you simply eat well balanced daily meals like eggs or yogurt & toast plus 1/2 a grapefruit for breakfast, a chicken salad for lunch and eat smaller portions at dinner, combined with exercise, you will lose weight. You have to exercise! Walking, swimming, are both great. You can also exercise at home. A great free website is sparkle.com. Check it out.

Ive done it before... years ago. it works but its really expensive and you do have to add your own fresh foods too... and once you go off its hard to maintain. I found WW worked much better... but so did just writing down the calories of everything I eat. Accountability is such a pita!! LOL

What I found was that you pay for a TINY amount of food and what they don't tell you is that you ADD a TON of really expensive fresh food to what you have already purchased. IMO you can do much better on your own. Start with exercising and go from there. Good luck!

I work out. It helped more than changing my diet. I find that working out not only gives me a reason to feel good about myself, but it also fills some of the time I'd otherwise sit sulking about my divorce. If you can afford it, join a gym, it's a good social outlet.
