yes to custody agreement if no child support

STBX and I are battling over custody..he will agree to my proposal if there is no child support in the papers..says he will give me money...my mind says no...but my heart says do anything for the kids...what to do?  Any advice?

Answers for "yes to custody agreement if no child support"  (2) (You must be logged in to answer)
Stick with your mind. If nothing is documented then you can enforce nothing. He has to pay, but the amount will be stated in the agreement. If you don't do it and he does not pay, he may be able to say later you agreed that he doesn't have to.

he has to give you child support. it's the law.  he can't avoid it.
