I too am playing this waiting game, but I'm not tossing myself under the bus while I wait.  I'm calculating retirement dollard, investigating fees and documenting his crap to use for my benifit when the shoe finally drops.

You need to quit being a victim and use this time of him paying the mortgage to your benifit.

i dont want to move on hes been my whole life and i dont now how to live without him he says he loves me but i now hes always with her im waiting to see if i get my disability and even then i dont want to start over without him im just not strong enough he has been my whole world all my life i just wish  he loved me lie he use to and wish there wasnt another person involved shes 15 years younger than us i cant compete with that

The question isn't why does he stay -- but why do you? It sounds like he treats you badly and you continue to take it. Having been exactly where you are, I would suggest getting a therapist to help guide you through your feelings. Who knows, one day, you may even decide you deserve better -- and you do! Good luck.

He might just be waiting for you to tell him it is o.k. to move on. You are obviously going through a lot right now and maybe he does not want to hurt you anymore.  You need to be the strong one here and tell him it is o.k. to move on. You will be just fine.

Maybe he does not want to hurt you.  You both will be happier if you just move on without each other.  do you want to work it out with him?  If so, maybe try counseling.  You deserve to be happy and can be just hold your head high and have the strength to move on and find that happiness you deserve.
